As part of my exhibition work, it happens time and again that I need medium to long-term accommodation for my artists from Germany and abroad. Hotels and hostels are ruled out because of their mostly impersonal furnishings.<\/p>\n

So I looked around for suitable boardinghouses, apartment hotels, and serviced apartments in Hamburg<\/strong> and found what I was looking for with the Oberdeck.<\/p>\n

The Oberdeck apartment hotel seems ideal for temporary living in Hamburg. Here, guests are more independent than in a hotel, and the apartments on offer are really comfortable and suitable for longer stays. The beautifully designed ambience is striking. Both the rooms and the overall building are very tastefully and discreetly furnished, almost like a boutique hotel.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The apartments all have a small living room area and many have a balcony with relaxing seating. I particularly liked the sleeping loft which can be reached via a small staircase<\/strong>. If you have guests over, one can make oneself comfortable in the lower area of the room without having to sit on the bed.<\/p>\n

In each of the apartments there is a small, beautifully functional kitchen with all the stuff needed to cook. A refrigerator and coffee maker are also included. I also really liked the hotel’s rooftop terrace. From here you have 360\u00b0 panoramic views of Hamburg and the seating invites you to linger.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=”8670″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

\u201ecentrally located right by the Altona train station\u201c<\/h2>\n

The Oberdeck Apartment Hotel<\/strong> is centrally located, right by the Altona train station. This has many advantages. From here you can get to the Elbe and the connected Elbe parks very quickly, even on foot.<\/p>\n

There’s a lot of good shopping in the immediate vicinity of the Oberdeck; there are even farmer’s markets several times a week within walking distance.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The proximity to the train station also makes it possible to reach every corner of Hamburg quickly and inexpensively by public transport.
\nOn the subject of service, it can be said that the reception is staffed around the clock by really nice staff who can handle even difficult inquiries quickly.<\/p>\n

You can also decide how often you want your room cleaned. It is particularly practical that there is a washing machine and dryer in the basement, saving yourself those annoying trips to the laundromat. Despite the very central location by the train station<\/strong>, it is quiet at night. A good night’s sleep is guaranteed.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=”8665″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

“everyone loves the rooms”<\/h2>\n

Everyone loves the rooms with the balconies, the rooftop terrace, and the proximity to the city’s sights. In summary, for a weekend getaway or a few relaxing days with an overnight stay in Hamburg, the Oberdeck Apartment Hotel is a real hit<\/strong>. For a long stay, I can only recommend the serviced apartments at the Oberdeck.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
